The tour begins at Colfer's house in Dublin, Ireland. He introduces viewers to his office, where he does most of his work all day, and talks about The Fowl Twins: Deny all Charges, which he has about two weeks left of work on at time of filming before he sends it in for publishing. He then talks about the basics of the film and calls it an amazing experience for himself and his family because they got to visit the set. The set includes a complete Lower Elements Police station and Fowl Manor. He spent the day wandering around, finding it somewhat surreal.

He states that he hopes the movie makes people felt as if they have visited Ireland and that it even makes them want to come there. The next stop of the tour is an old manor house named Loftus Hall, very special to Colfer because he used to work there and was inspired by it. He says that it has the reputation of being the most haunted house in Ireland. He continues that the building itself is, essentially, Fowl Manor. As a young boy, he washed bottles at the bar there and felt that with its staircases and passages and corridors and peepholes, it would be an excellent house to have a family with a life of adventure live in. He calls it a time machine to watch Artemis Fowl come to life on-screen because it brings him to his childhood.

The tour continues with a trip to the Hook Peninsula, where Colfer talks about his family, saying that his father was delighted when he started to write stories. His childhood hugely influenced Artemis Fowl and the Artemis Fowl character is based on his little brother, whose mischievous activities were centered on this area, where the family came for three months every year, the wide-open peninsula area becoming an "adventure zone" and playground. The next stop is Ireland's National Opera House, where Colfer first got into drama and writing. There, Colfer meets with George Lawlor, the mayor of Wexford, Ireland and an old friend who he has been on stage with before. He says that while people say to him his books are cinematic in nature, they're actually theatrical.

The tour returns to Dublin for the last stop, which Colfer says is possibly the most important stop. It is the Civic Theater, where fans have gathered to see his one-man show, Fowl, Fairies & Family. He explains that the show explains how the characters in the Artemis Fowl books are all based on his family or close friends. While doing makeup, he admits that he is a bit nervous, as his family and close friends are all coming to the show. He is introduced to the crowd and thanks them, saying that sometimes you can get disheartened, but going out on the road and meeting people who are actually reading the books, you see how it helps them to have it in their own lives. Twenty years later, he finds it lovely to see all that in a big Disney movie.
