Disney+ is a streaming service created by The Walt Disney Company. It is a streaming destination for numerous films and television series created by the Walt Disney Company, as well as various subsidiary companies owned by Disney, including Lucasfilm (Star Wars franchise), 20th Century Fox, and National Geographic.
In April 2020, it was revealed that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Artemis Fowl film would forego a theatrical release in favor of being released directly to the Disney+ streaming service on June 12, 2020.[1]
