Principal or Dean Guiney is the dean of St. Bartleby's School for Young Gentlemen. He is mentioned several times in Artemis Fowl and the Arctic Incident[1] and Artemis Fowl and the Opal Deception.[2] Artemis Fowl II planted a button camera in his office that could be used within a mile of Guiney's office.

In the Artemis Fowl and the Arctic Incident, Artemis Fowl II forges a letter from his mother to Dean Guiney saying that Artemis was going to be taken for professional treatment in Switzerland, and that she would sue if Guiney tried to contact her. He forwarded this letter to Dr. Po.[1]
Artemis Fowl and the Opal Deception[]
In the Artemis Fowl and the Opal Deception, Artemis synthesizes a phone call, again from his mother, saying that Artemis was not feeling well from food poisoning.[2]
