Commander Ark Sool is an "unusually thin and tall" gnome with a no-nonsense attitude and the current commmander of LEPrecon. He is the king of "Red Tape". He appears in The Opal Deception. After the death of Commander Root, Sool thought Holly Short had gone rogue and was behind the assassination attempt, but in reality it was Opal Koboi. Sool is known for being particularily mean to Foaly when the centaur makes suggestions that don't appeal to him. It was because of Ark Sool that Holly resigned.
